This forest is something for the senses.
You can see the up to 60 m high karri trees - which are so far apart that they transform the light into columns which illuminate the ground.
You can hear purple-crowned lorikeet, splendid fairy-wren, white-breasted robins, crested strike-tits, golden whistlers and many other birds. The bird life is not quiet here.
You get to feel the natural soil on the small single-lane roads. Without 4x4 nothing works.
However, you can also discover the forest very well as a hiker.
