This is the most famous fjord in Fjordland National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and is also called as the eighth wonder of the world. The 320 meter deep sea arm has extreme rock walls with inclines of 60-80 degrees in places. This rises to the sky with Miter Peak (mountain in the left of the picture) at 1692 m. The demissions are so huge that the receptions from one bank to the other be are totally underestimated.
