#WhitsundayIsland is the largest of the #WhitsundayIslands. This #natur #island is #uninhabited however has overnight yachtsmen, including the #beautiful #sandy #beaches with #clearwater of #WhitehavenBeach and #HillInlet and the #cool waterways of Gulnare Inlet. Airlie Beach and Shute Harbor are the next port to #explore this #naturalwonder.
The Whitsunday Islands consist of 74 islands, 17 of which are inhabited. Most of the islands have national park status with a 35,000 km² marine park in between in the pacific #ocean. The Whitsunday Islands are part of the #GreatBarrierReef #WorldHeritageArea.
